Jay Michaels says the Bahamas is still the best!

In this first in a series of podcasts featuring the Bahamas, Jay Michaels delves into various aspects of the Bahamas, including Graycliff Manor, his old-friend proprietor Enrico Garzaroli, and the world-famous Graycliff cigars.

Popular Radio And Television Host Still Says the Bahamas is the best vacation value in the world

(PRWEB) July 18, 2005—Jay Michaels has been no stranger to the island nation of the Bahamas as through his radio and television programs he as always said that the Bahamas is the best vacation spot in the world!

This past week Jay was back in his favorite place on earth to see the continued advances being made in one of the most beautiful places in the islands, that being Paradise Island.

Paradise Island, thanks to visionaries like Sol Kerzner, is being transformed into one of the most exciting yet relaxing vacation destinations.

Just strolling around the beautiful grounds of Atlantis, far from the lost city, this is a city that has been “found!” From a world class spa, culinary delights from five star eateries, a casino that rivals the best of Las Vegas, and miles of waterways with more marine life than anyone could imagine. Top that with one of the most relaxing beaches in the Caribbean with gin clear waters and you have a vacation hideaway less than an hour from the U.S.

Jay Michaels, who once was named the “unoffical ambassador to the Bahamas” by the Ministry of Tourism for all of his positive reporting on the Bahamas still enjoys feeling like a tourist in a place that feels more like home to him than his birthplace. The historic Graycliff, manor house and restaurant where you can enjoy handrolled cigars and wines that rival the collection of kings and queens! Strolling along Bay Street in Nassau, where the shopping is superb in elegant department stores such as John Bull.

Jay also had a personal tour from old friend, Craig Clark of Harbourside, a brand new timeshare development that now gives those who share a passion for this country to own a piece of Paradise, literally!

While there Jay Michaels announced that as previously reported is planning to make the Bahamas his home in the very near future. He also met with officials to arrange on bringing a concert series to Nassau featuring artists for the adult audiences. Jay feels that there has been more than enough entertainment geared towards the hip-hop generation and not enough emphasis on the artists that paved the way for those of today. Jay feels that this concert series will not only be entertaining but will also be educational for the younger set as well giving them a deeper understanding of music and entertainment. Jay has also reported that the concert series would be tied to a Bahamian charity.

Jay Michaels, again cannot say enough about the Bahamas and invites everyone who reads this to experience what he has said for years. Come to a place where the currency is not foreign, the language is English, and there are vacation packages for every budget.

Grab the sunscreen, head for the hammock and stay tuned for more on Jay Michaels and the Bahamas!
